We're Officially Peace Corps Trainees

Today marks the beginning of our service with the Peace Corps. We reported to a staging event in Philadelphia this afternoon. Tomorrow, we fly to Vienna, and then on to Armenia. In the last few weeks we’ve been in New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. So, in a way, it’s the end of one trip and the beginning of another.

I’ll try to post a quick entry when we get there.

  1. Wow! No turning back now... I am ridiculously excited for both of you (and a wee bit jealous right now, too). Enjoy your stopover in Vienna; I hear that they have these little canned sausages, which are just to die for...wait, I don't know anyone who has ever actually consumed those...

Try and enjoy the flight, Andy, cause I'll be praying extra hard til you are safely on the ground in Armenia (or as they call it here in CNY "Albania")
